IP Whitelisting

When integrating with Rain’s API, you may need to whitelist our IP addresses in your firewall or security settings. This is particularly important if you have strict network security policies or if you’re using webhooks that only accept connections from trusted sources.

Rain uses the following static IP addresses for outbound connections:

When to Use These IP Addresses

You should whitelist these IP addresses in the following scenarios:

1. Webhook Security: If you’re receiving webhooks from Rain and have IP-based restrictions on your webhook endpoints.
2. Firewall Configuration: If your organization has a firewall that restricts outbound or inbound connections to specific IP addresses.
3. API Gateway Rules: If you’re using an API gateway that requires whitelisting of specific IP addresses.

Implementation Notes

• Whitelist all IP addresses for your environment. Production uses multiple egress IPs for redundancy and capacity.
• Rain uses these IP addresses for all outbound connections, including API calls, webhooks, and other automated communications.
• If you experience connectivity issues with Rain, verify that all listed IP addresses are whitelisted in your network configuration.
