Connect Webhooks

Set your webhook URL early so you receive Rain events from your first API call.

Webhooks let Rain notify your system in real time as events happen. Set your webhook URL before you make your first API call so you don’t miss early events such as application status changes.

Set your webhook URL

Add a webhook URL in the Webhooks tab of your developer dashboard, using the instance for your environment:

• Sandbox webhooks page
• Production webhooks page

Once configured, Rain sends events to that URL for application status changes, card events, transactions, and collateral updates. Setting the URL early means you catch these events from your very first call.

When Rain creates your tenant, it sets a default signing key, so your webhooks carry a signature from the start. You can change the key later.
